TorFX Wins National Awards for Second Year Running

We’re delighted to announce that TorFX took home two prestigious national awards for the second year running at the 2017 Moneyfacts Consumer Awards.
As well as triumphing in our category of International Money Transfer Provider of the Year, we were presented with the accolade for overall Best Customer Service.
The Best Customer Service category included all companies from across 26 categories, including MBNA, LV, M&S Bank, Thomas Cook and Sainsburys.
Nick Lawler, Director of Sales at Moneyfacts, said: ‘This year saw the largest ever response to our survey […] honest feedback, alongside our technical knowledge, means that this year’s Moneyfacts Consumer Awards assuredly recognise the best products and services. This year’s finalists and winners should all be proud of their achievements.’
This year’s event was held on January 25th at the Lancaster London Hotel and was hosted by comedian Ivo Graham.
The political shifts of 2016 created quite challenging conditions for currency transfer providers and their customers, so we were particularly pleased that our customers were so impressed with the service they’d received over the past year.
TorFX Managing Director Nigel Fox said this of the award wins: ‘we’re absolutely thrilled to have won both these prestigious awards for the second year running. Being recognised by customers as the best in your field is incredibly satisfying but to be acknowledged across the whole financial services industry, including some household names, for best customer service is both amazing and humbling. It’s a credit to our employees who genuinely seek to put our customers first.’
This is a great start to the year for us, particularly after we enjoyed such a bumper award-winning 12 months in 2016 with a double win at the Moneyfacts Consumer Awards and a triple win at the Cornwall Business Awards (picking up the gongs for Customer Focus, Best Employer and Winner of Winners).
