After an extremely challenging twelve months we were very excited to get some good news at the end of January.
TorFX were voted International Money Transfer Provider of the Year for a record-breaking sixth year running at the 2021 Moneyfacts Consumer Awards.
As the award winners are chosen on the basis of customer feedback, winning this accolade always means a lot to us, but achieving this win after all the uncertainty of 2020 was especially important.
Over 130,000 consumers submitted votes for this year’s event, which aims to highlight technically great products and services that customers would recommend.
Michelle Monck, Head of Digital at Moneyfacts.co.uk, said:
‘Thank you to the 130,000 consumers that shared their views with us about the best brands for customer service during the past 12 months. The Moneyfacts Consumer Awards recognise those banks, building societies, insurers and energy providers that are the absolute best in their respective categories. We congratulate all of the winners and those that have been commended and highly commended, and thank each of the consumers for taking the time to vote.’
We were also delighted to win the overall award for Best Customer Service – which incorporates all the shortlisted companies for every award category, including Monzo, MBNA, Lloyds Bank, Nationwide and Capital One.
Our Managing Director Nigel Fox had this to say of our latest award win: ‘Holding the title of International Money Transfer Provider of the Year since 2016 is a huge achievement. We’re always extremely proud of our fantastic team, but in 2020 they had the additional challenges of adjusting to working from home and covering the workload of temporarily furloughed staff. This award is a testament to their incredibly hard work and their commitment to providing our customers with fantastic service no matter what.’
This was a great start to 2021 for us, and we look forward to working with and supporting our customers through a much brighter year ahead.
